Part 8

Under construction!

Welcome to Morioh (JoJolion chpt #1)

Holy shit this chapter was CRAZY to start off on, it was so nonsensical I could barely tell what was going on. I suppose for it to make sense I need to read at least 40 more chapters though...that's JoJo's for you. To start we're first introduced to some lady known as Yasuho Hirose who seems to be hidding from someone, according to her they kissed once so it was probably a romantic relationship that didn't work out. We also see some man pop out from the dirt next to her which wouldn't be elaborated on in this chapter. We do get some context to the location when we're told about the hardships Morioh had recently faced, I assume by Yasuho. For one there was a tsunami that devestaed the town and also an odd phenomenom known as "wall eyes" caused by an earth quake. Their apphearance are most likely to be supernaturaul as nobody could explain what exactly they were. Yasuho also mentioned being at a "place", probably between the wall eyes. That seems to be connected to odd things, like the man just apphearing in the dirt. That guy is obviously Josuke, he sports a star birthmark on his left shoulder that something (more likely someone) had bitten. He then asks if Yasuha did indeed say her name, and if she's Yasuha Hirose, then who is he? The panel of Josuke asking such a question is strikingly sombr and seriouse, completely dishelving just how wack the situation is.

It brought me chills. And then he proceeds to start drowning.

If that's not at least in the top 20 switch ups of the century I dunno what else could qualify. Yasuha is of course suprised and worried but hesitatant to reach down and grab him, I'm not exactly sure why. She did mention not wanting to touch him cuz he might carry a disease or get assualted, but after she pulled him out she mentioned how this would be a story about breaking a curse. Curses, as she explains, are impurities passed down through generations cuz someone way long ago did something wrong. She also says they could be the friction between two opposing forces, maybe she thinks Josuke could be cursed/a curse? We're then introduced to the biggest bitch on the planet, Joushuu Higashikata, who is determined to cave in Josuke's skull with a rock after he sees Yasuha lying with him (Josuke is also butt naked). He's very wrongly possesive of "his" Yasuho (Yasuho does not appreciate this in the slightest, in fact she hates him) and seemingly loves her, although he violently pushes her when she protests his desire to hurt Josuke. This is when we get a sense of Josuke's mental state, it seems he has little to no idea what the fuck is going on, like he'd just been born. Despite his vulnrebability he's able to fend of Joushuu(who is now crying) and we get a sense of what his stand ability is. Previouse to this encounter Yasuho took a picture of the bite around his birthmark, possibly to show medics. The picture is later shown to have a bubble encapsulating the birthmark which is no longer on his shoulder.

we see something similair happen to his birthmark when he's being assualte by Joushuu.

The bubble floats towards him and when it pops, Joushuu's eyes are gone. I'm thinking Josukes stand has the ability to make anything pop, like a bubble, so it could have made Joushuu's eyes seemingly dissaphear. Moments later his eyes return so this ability is either temporary or Josuke didn't wish to keep Joushuu blind. We're then told a shocking and totally neccasary discovery by Yasuho: Josuke literally has four balls. She explains her surprise at this revelation for a page and a half. Nice one Araki.

This chapter was very weird and a little hard to follow but I was enjoying it, the ending was...odd. I thought the "Josuke has four balls" thing was just a metaphorical joke in the community. The characters and the dynamics were set from the get-go so that's pretty dandy! Yasuho hates Joushuu who is also her childhood bestie, Joushuu loves Yasuho with very...inexplicable manerisms and hates Josuke, and Josuke was basically just born. The set up for the premise is also interesting, odd phenomenoms are happening in Morioh and a weird man crawls from the dirt and he has no idea who he is. I'm intrueged. I think we're also supposed to hate Joushuu too, if that's the case Araki succeeded.

Soft and Wet Part 1 (JoJolion chpt #2)

We start off with Josuke, just staring, it's very apparent now he's missing memeories. He is unable to recognize what a family is, what nurses are, or that he's in a hospital. Strangely he is very good at identifying variouse wildlife and the measurments of things down to a millimeter. Perchance he was a biologist or mathmatician in his past? He also rembers Yasuho, who seems to be looking for him. She does not find him in his room at first, and is startled to find Josuke underneath the hospital bed mattress. I quiet enjoyed the little face he made after Yasuho found him.

It does seem that he's literally just started to exist as a person though, he has no recollection of any behaviors other than speech and reading, like he doesn't understand that being naked isn't exactly a causal thing (Araki once again reiterates he has 4 balls). Maybe he can rember things found in nature but cannot rember anything relating to humans or society? Yasuho originally came to check on Joshuu who hadn't sustained any lasting injuries but did sleep for two days straight, we can infer from Yasuho that he is also an akward loser cuz he's studying socialogy. Because Joshuu was more or less fine she went to check up on Josuke instead. She brang him some sesame-seed honey dango and despite her instructions to eat them a specific way so the filling doesn't spill out Josuke cannot seem to grasp them and makes a huge mess. We also get a glimpse of his very adorable tooth gap:

After the whole dessert disaster Yasuho states he might be one of the missing people from the earthquake but the authorities were anable to find any records on him, she offers the next thing to do was to see if anyone was looking for him. She then asks if Josuke seriously has no memories, to which he asnwers he does have some memories, just not anything personal. Yasuho asks what's the first thing he can remember to which he replies her, she's the only person in the whole world that he knows. And they hug. This would be very cute if Araki didn't make Josuke get hard imediatlly. Wowza, what impeccable writing. Yasuho, understandably uncomftrable, pulls away and notices Josukes hat. He was wearing it when he crawled out of the dirt so she figures they could track it back to the original seller(some company by the name of SBR...hehe.) There's unfortunatly a police officer gaurding Josuke's room and cuz he did harm Joshuu it made him hella suspicious and he's not allowed to leave. Yasuho offers she simply take a picture and bring it to the shop but Josuke is determined to figure out who he is. He carefully calculates the length and path to the exit and sends out his bubble, meanwhile he marvels at Yasuho's chest which he somehow figures is stuffed...was this necassary? I dunno... Anyway the bubble pops and steals moisture from the officer causing her to get up and go to the water fountain. They escape to the elevator and Yasuho asks how he did that, to which Josuke asks if Yasuho can't do anything. As they're running out the building holding hands we get an unfortunate moment with Joshuu, who is very jelouse. It's revealed he was bitten by something, a lot like Josuke was in the first chapter. Before he passes out he rationolizes cuz he got more dango from Yasuho she must love him more!(delusion) As Yasuho and Josukere walk she asks him if he recognizes anything to which he says no. They arrive at the clothing company and ask the owner if there was anyone who bought a hat similair to Josuke's, and if so what kind of person. The owner tells them that Josuke did indeed shop there, two times in fact. The two rejoice in this discovery and Yasuho tells the shop keeper he's very cool(side charcaters actually being useful <3). There are also a couple references to previouse parts like Jotaro's, Gyro's, and Johnny's hats!

She asks if there was record of his name, and finally our nameless protagonest get's his name back:"Yoshikage Kira." Hold up. Pause. What? Rewind. Hold it there. What? Pause. Yoshikage Kira? Granted he's not called that for long as Yasuho says it doesn't fit him and her dogs name Josuke fits him better, but Yoshikage Kira? The freak himself? They go to his apartment and Yasuho finds Josuke's key atop the aprtments door, Josuke makes another adorable face before getting mocked for carelessy placing it.

They enter a relatively normal apratment, a couch, coffee pot, nothing special. Everything seems to be made or him, his clothes fit perfect and there are multiple sailor outits on a rack. There's just one thing though, someone's already in there.

This chapter was a little long and I'm very tired so sorry for the drop in quality and the extensive sentences, I'm gonna need to shorten these if I wanna prevent accidently nukeing someone. Anywho, I was suprised to learn our dumbass is actually Yoshikage Kira, I was calling him Josuke this whole time assuming he'd be revealed to be our beautiful boy from part 4's parallel. Him being Kira explains why he's so good at analysing things, I just hope he's not the type of freak that part 4 Kira is.... I'm also predicting Yasuho and Josuke are gonna get married if one of them doesn't die, that'd make him like, the first straight JoJo (Jonathan doesn't count cuz Speedwagon). Is Josuke/Kira even a JoJo? His nickname is Josuke but he's officially named Kira but that aparently doesn't fit him so it's all confusing...also how can he remember how to tie his shoes but not being naked is not okay in public spaces? Why is he so freaky? What counts as a personal memory and what doesn't? And the bite marks are definitly how people obtain stands, the symptoms are exactly the same as in the other universes. I wonder what Joshuu's stand will be, I hope it's utterly pathetic.

Soft and Wet Part 2 (JoJolion chpt #3)

Josuke is in the apartment, the clothes fit perfectly but something still isnt right. He still cannot remember who he is and someone is in his house. Araki sneaks in a hand statue and the Mona Lisa which is a sinister reference for people who've read/watched part 4...Josuke also seems to be exploring or taking in the apartment.

Yasuho and Josuke go to investigate the presence but are distracted by footsteps above them, it's probably the neighbors above but knowing Araki it might be something important; he doesn't include those details for nothing. Yasuho goes to check out the kitchen and finds a MASSIVE stock of green peas and wasabi, like an absurd amount. Both are green so this could possibly point to Josuke's favourite color? Yasuho also finds a bill with Yoshikage Kira on it confirming this is indeed the right place. Josuke continues to investigate the presence and is led to the bathroom, he finds the faucet dripping and turns it off but as he does so the tenant above them seems to follow to where he's standing. Josuke's attention is caught but not by the footsteps, rather he finds a woman taking a bath. Both of them seem to be confused and Josuke quickly leaves in what seems to be fear.

Asking Yasuho to not freak out he states that 3 meters and 40 centimeters away there's a girl, Yasuho is puzzeled as well and goes to see if this is in fact true. Seeing as Josuke was right she apologizes and respectfully exits the bathroom, THEN she starts to freak a bit. She asks Josuke why there's a naked lady in his house to which he has no answer, cuz as he has no memories.

I'm not sure why but Yasuho get's a little intense and says "Oh right, silly me...why would you!?" Moving on Yasuho says she'll ask the woman to leave since Josuke was clearly not gonna do it. Politely intruding on the woman again she says she's not this guys friend or anything and asks if she's his girlfriend.

The naked lady get's up(I thought they were drawn funny)

and we're shown some strange symbols on her hands and feet.

The strange woman reaches forward and utters "H-help me...I beg of you." She's trapped, she's trapped and she's desperate, something terrible has happened to her. As she's leaning forward she knocks over a jar, when it smashes to the ground the "tenant" above moves again. Suspicious....The lady seems to be filled with dread as she stares up at the ceiling, completely ignoring Yasuho who's asking her questions. Yasuho asks Josuke what he did to her and as expected he doesn't remember, he's more concerned about stepping on the shards of glass and reaches for some slippers only to find there are thumbtacks in them. There must be a purpose to this, perhaps it's to get them to bleed in some way? There's a possibility that there's a blood based enemy stand present. As Josuke's on the ground from getting pricked he get's a closer look at the jar that fell, it's filled with nail clippings. He looks at the cabinet from where they fell and finds even more, meticulously ordered jars(oh no). Yasuho also finds a photo album, when Josuke asks to see it she yells at him not to touch her, suddenly afraid. She said she should never have come to this apartment and that is was filthy, she told Josuke she didn't want him living anywhere near her home. Yasuho threw the book at him and sprinted off.

Josuke opens the photo album to find what Yasuho had been so disgusted and scared by, upon opening he discovers it's filled with grotesque pornography of restrained women probably being sexually assualted, and he was in the pictures (oh no...) Josuke refuses to believe he would do such hourendous, disgusting acts, this couldn't have been him, right?(tell me it ain't so :'| ) In a cold sweat, Josuke turns to the naked woman asking who she is, wanting to figure out what happened to him no matter the cost. She was not having this bullshit.

She was hoping she'd be saved from this awful place, not have some random guy start asking her nonsensical questions. Josuke is confused again, wondering why she'd need to escape(use your brain, the thing in your head? Use it!) The "tenent" is once again on the move, this time causing the nail jars to smash to the ground and pierce Josuke's left hand. The strange lady starts to get increasingly distraught, insisting they get out of there before it was too late. There's a cut to Josuke, sitting on the flor, as an odd symbol forms on his left foot and hand from clotting blood. The symbols are identicle to the ladies, which means this is most definitly a stand attack from a third party. The strange lady exclaims that there is still hope for Josuke who doesn't have symbols on all four limbs yet, and as she says this Josuke's left limbs start to move on their own.

This was even longer than the last one so pardon the wall of text, it is 3am and I am so tired. I like doing these though so it's worth it. This was...a really dark chapter, especially for only being the third. There are definitly some horrid things going on like the whole photo album thing, but I don't think Josuke took those pictures. He's freaky but he's not freaky and I can't see him being that type of person before losing his memories. Maybe there's an entirely seperate Yoshikage Kira? Also this Kira is definitly a parallel to part 4 Kira, maybe he's actually the tenant above them...? Whoever lives there is definitly the enemy stand user though, the stand attack is also fairly simple. If you bleed from a limb you'll develope a strange sybmbol that signifies what part the enemy is able to control and when they have all four limbs they'll probably be able to control the whole body. What I can say for sure though is that Yasuho's reacted way more reasonably than other female characters and I'm super glad she got out of there. However, I think she's going to stick around Josuke cuz again, no way Josuke took those pictures. Also there were more screenshots in this cuz their expressions may have been a little silly.

Soft and Wet part 3 (JoJolion chpt #4)

I love this pose it's so goofy

The chapter starts with Yasuho getting called over by her friends who ask her if she'd go to a dessert shop with hyper specific descriptions on how their products were made on a whim. The very close friends promise it would brighten up her day and plead her to go but Yasuho turns down the offer, she says that she would rather go home. The lesbians bid her goodbye and ask her to email them later. After they leave Yasuho checks her surrounding and starts to break down into tears, traumatized over what she saw in the apartment. She sobs for a bit, and remembers the times she spent with Josuke. He didn't seem like the type of person to take pleasure in cruelty, but she has no way of finding out if that's true or not. But what if he wasn't Yoshikage Kira? What if the apartment belonged to a different Kira? What would happen to him? Well he would probably be attacked by a person living above him who reallyyyy wanted to get him to bleed from all limbs to forcibly control his actions, so much so they spent their time sticking needles into a towel for anyone to brush up against.

Josuke is still confused as to who did this and why, and why the hell this girl was in the bathroom. He attempts to get her to talk but she shushes him, once again placing importance on being quiet. She tells Josuke it's over if they stand right above him. The stand user probably needs to be directly above a target to be able to use their ability. Josuke asks her to explain one part at a time, starting with her identity. The lady does not answer but rather starts getting in the bath. Both of them are puzzled now, which is quite bizarre since the lady should be going in the bath of her own volition (she's not). She pleads for Josuke to pull her out out and submerses herself in the tub. Josuke stands above her, unaware of the urgency of the situation, and tells her she has a weird way of getting into a bath. He assumes it's cuz she likes having pressure on top of her, Josuke says he likes it too but only when he's asleep and probably wouldn't enjoy being literally drowned. The lady starts to lose air and desperatly asks Josuke to help from under the water. Josuke FINALLY gets the message and tries to pull her out.

He may be a little stupid. When Josuke pulls he realizes she won't budge, the stand user has taken control again. His hand then grasps his own throat and his foot pushes him towards the tub in an attempt to drown him as well. Their upstairs neighbor starts to move again. Josuke finally notices his marked limbs have been taken control of and connects the dots between the lady drowning, the upstairs neighbor, and the symbols(about time you fool.) Since he can't lift her he drains the water from the tub and as soon as the water's gone the lady answers Josuke question. She lives in Tokyo and was kidnapped on vacation, probably for a while now. She remembers three days ago Josuke was at the apartment and had “finally gotten away!" So Josuke was here before? Why? So he couldn't be the one to take the photographs if he was also trapped right? She glosses over this and says the person above them was pissed and ready to kill (a little obvious but Josuke might've needed the reminder.) As the lady begs to get out of the cursed apartment Josuke is preoccupied with how he cut himself on the chain attached to the stopper, it was sharpened into little razors. Three of his limbs had been taken. He was becoming more and more sure this scheme was not his doing, and also beggining to suspect that whoever was living in that apartment was waiting to ambush Josuke from the beginning. He asks the lady to confirm if he was Yoshikage Kira or if that was the person attacking them, the lady said she didn't know Josuke's name but the man upstairs…before she could reveal his identity she grabs her own tongue and swings a razor towards her mouth. Josuke catches her arm before she's made to cut her tongue out, the tenant upstairs following suit. The lady starts to kick the shit of Josuke who goes flying, the razor coming with him. The lady thanks him for saving her but explains she was just bait so he could get a razor in his hands. Both of Josuke's hands are marked, meaning they're under control, meaning that whoever's above them is gonna make him go for his own throat, meaning this was a pretty bad situation. Josuke's hand attacks him relentlessly, the razor cutting up his body as he maneuvers his neck to evade it. In the midst of attack Josuke was able to trap his hand under his unmarked foot. The pose is very akward.

Josuke confirmed with the lady that the attacker needs to be directly above them to attack, he's planning something. “So what”? It's all meaningless now.” Josuke's marked foot trips him, letting the razor fly straight for his neck.

Just in the nick of time Josuke steals the sound from the walls, rendering the opponent's ability useless. Josuke breaks a wall to escape out of the bathroom(there's a door right next you dude but ok) and the wall cannot make noise, even the falling rubble is completely silent. The tenant above them starts to pace, Josuke's position now unknown to them. Josuke decides to face this person directly, following their footsteps to the door. He stops, it should still be unlocked but also very dangerous, the person could be waiting above in hopes Josuke would make noise opening the door. So what was the best option? The balcony of course.

a beautiful, silly doodle I greatly enjoy.

Sorry for the shit quality and switch from present to past tense midawy but I am tired and these chapters are loooonngg. But also Araki's art is so friggin' good, although I'm not sure how much I like the dialouge. I can't tell if Josuke is a little obliviuose from the amnesia but with how urgent the lady is acting and how many times she repeats herself I would've expected Josuke to have gotten the gist of the situation sooner. Maybe I've just re-read the chapter too many times. I do appreciate the lack of sound effects when Josuke breaks the wall and stuff, it's a great visual comunicator. I also think Josuke got confused with Kira by the shop keeper cuz they both wear a sailor uniform and he was apparently trapped alongside that lady for three days. I doubt someone who was trapped in the same sitaution would have taken those gross photo's just because. I actually think Kira is the one above them, the way they wanna keep their identity hidden at all costs and how their stand is a little bit like Killer Queen in the sense it follows one thing and is semi-close range, I dunno. Sorry for the chapter being so late but like my whole home page got deleted and I had to rework old code </3 Alss wanna take a moment to appreciate how cool the art for the chapter was:

Soft and Wet part 4 (JoJolion chpt #5)

We pick back up on Josuke making a run for the balcony, before he crashes out the glass doors he catches a glance of a hand saw and reptile encyclopedia on the floor(very weird placement, that will totally be unimportant.) Josuke continues to wonder why the hell the person upstairs is so angry at him, just who is he? He sends out his bubble again and steals the sound from the glass, it falls to the floor without a sound. When he steps foot on the balcony he realizes there are snakes on it, very similar to the ones seen on the open pages of the encyclopedia. Josuke scrambles atop an AC unit but not quick enough, he gets a bitten before he can make it. The person upstairs starts to move above Josuke again, who stays as still and quiet as possible. Thankfully they don't realize where Josuke is because the bite on his foot isn't turning into one of the symbols. To find Josuke they dangle a snake over the edge of the balcony which starts to wiggle towards him. It's at this point where the venom starts to kick in, it gets hard to breathe. It's also when we see why there was a reptile encyclopedia and a saw placed next to the balcony, the snakes on the balcony have top tier venom and written on the saw is "Why not cut it off?"

Cleary the person who did this wanted Josuke to cut off his foot in desperation so they could get control of at least one limb. Their upstairs neighbor drops the snake they were dangling making Josuke jump unto the couch, they follow him to the relative position but not quite over him yet. Josuke wishes he could use his bubble on himself to take out the poison, he was really starting to feel the effects now. Josuke desperately needed to escape the apartment, the only way to that is to nullify his ability. Josuke wondered who was this person, and who was he?

Josuke starts to remembersomeoneHe knew this face, but who was he? I wonder if this is Kira or the man living above them, or someone completely unrelated. The phone rings, breaking Josuke out of his wonders and the odd lady confirms it's a trap. She goes on monologuing how she's always been used, by her family, by her crush, or at this exact moment, she's never been more than an object. But she doesn't want to die here. She snaps up the phone, striking a deal with the person upstairs, "He's on the black sofa." All of Josuke's limbs sport a symbol which rise out of him, he's been full taken control off.

The lady reasons Josuke's situation isn't her fault, in fact it's his, If he hadn't been in the town neither of them would be in this predicament. She turns to leave and Josuke is thrown into a cabinet, the saw right next to him. He's forced to pick it up, place it in his mouth, and begin sawing. Just then Yasuho returns after having a long thought about Josuke's character and she finds him on the floor, saw in mouth. Josuke tells her to run but before she's able to leave the person above them flings Josuke towards the door, the saw cutting Yasuho's hand. They really didn't want anyone to escape. Josuke's made to pick up the saw to injure Yasuho, but he's strangely calm. He tells her she doesn't have to run anymore, because of her he was able to free his shoulder and release his stand ability to steal the friction from the floor above them. Josuke is sure the person above them is Yoshikage Kira, who is now slipping and sliding all over the place. They're flung towards the balcony, Josuke pulled along. He sends out the bubble again, returning the friction before he's thrown into the snakes. Josuke sends the bubble to them to steal their eyesight, only leaving a little light because naturally if you suddenly went blind you'd grab for the only sliver of comfort available to you. The person falls from the balcony and Josuke releases a flurry of "ORA ORA ORA"'s,

and with that the (maybe?) Yoshikage has been revealed.

Araki is NOT subtle with the details that'll be important later on lmao, although that saw and encyclopedia were probably meant to be obvious enough for the person to know their fate. If they didn't see the book they might've ignored the bite or only worried a little and without the saw there wouldn't be the feeling of being able to save yourself. On a different note I wish they didn't use the crumble sound effect when showing the glass breaking, if it was totally blank it would've communicated the silence way better.

Also who was that random fella Josuke remembered? I'm quite curious. It's definitely not his upstairs neighbor though, maybe the real Kira? And if Yasuho doesn't think that Josuke could be Kira then why did the actual Kira leave the key so easy to find? From part 4 we've known Kira as a meticulous and careful man, he wouldn't place a key to his house just anywhere unless it was on purpose. Did he want Josuke to find it? I have mixed ideas on what could be happening, and I have mixed feeling on the lady who ratted out Josuke. To be fair she was kidnapped and abused by someone(probably Kira) and was stuck for a very, very long time. Desperation drives us to do anything to save ourselves so I can't hold that against her.

Soft and Wet part 5 (JoJolion chpt #6)

Yippeee! New volume! With this new volume we get a greatly useful summery page with some new characters and two floor plans

! I can't waiiitt!! We also get a dandy rundown of the stand Fun Fun Fun which is basically: once a person bleeds from a limb it can control it(but only if it's standing over them), and once all four of them have been marked It can control the entire body. The first chapter still takes place on the balcony, the strange man being held over the ledge by Soft and Wet. Josuke warns the guy to try nothing and say everything. The symbols disappear off of Josuke who in return throws the man into the couch. He lands next the snakes and simply tosses them away, although very nervously. Josuke takes this as an hint to search him for the antidote to the venom, the man is less concerened with him taking it and more distraught of who Josuke is, or isn't. Yasuho is standing to the side, not exactly sure of what was going down. Josuke orders the man to talk but he tries to crawl away pitifully. Josuke kindly asks yasuho to look behind her while he beats the shit out if the stranger.

Josuke further berates the man who does not seem in the state to attack, at all. He reaches for a hand statue, asking Josuke to show his hands cuz "This is really freakin' important…" Hee hee. Ahem, the stranger states that Josuke isn't actually Yoshikage Kira, he couldn't be, they don’t have the same hands. He reveals the very beautiful hand statues above the couch were for Kira who was apparently very self absorbed, and Josuke didn’t have the same, beautiful hands Kira did.

Josuke tells the stranger to quit messing with him, he doesn’t want this guy pulling any funny buisness because HE was Yoshikae Kira, he kidnapped the girl after all! The stranger is not amused, Josuke even less so as he bashes the man into a table

I can see why he’s similar to Josuke….this guy is a menace. Josuke doesn't wanna take anymore shit from this guy but it seems he’s being serious when he says neither of them are Kira. Josuke still doesn't believe him, it didn’t help that this stranger did indeed kidnapp bathroom girl. Josuke once agin asks Yasuho to look up for a few moments as he makes sure this person won’t have kids for a while.

Josuke is getting progressively more fed up, he lists all the things this motherfucker had him go through and told him to genuinely stop lying. Josuke is not very good at reading people. The stranger begs them to look in his pocket where they find a photograph of who else other than the real Kira Yoshikage.

Apparently this guy had a grudge against Kira, that's why he set all the traps and took those pictures and made it look like Kira took em'(so very necessary, I want THIS guy thrown off a cliff now.) When Josuke entered the room he mistook him for Kira and accidentally attacked him, and you can't really blame him. Kira and Josuke look incredibly similar, including the clothing, but the shape of Josuke’s teeth and his hands are different so he's only half similar. Josuke tells the guy to reveal his identity , although he could ask Josuke the same question. Josuke freaks a bit and says HE’S the one asking questions, demanding the man name his occupation as well. The stranger is known as Sasame Oujiro, he’s a surfer. Josuke states that isn't a j*b. Sasame ignores this and reiterates the man in the photo is Kira, who is 29 and a ship doctor, aka a doctor on a ship. He’s so wise. Sasame continues with his story, he was surfing in a very, very unethical way. He had used a girl he invited to the beach, he said he didn't kill her or anything but even if he did he wouldn't get caught cuz of his stand ability(why did he need to say that?) Also, his childhood house was atop where the Wall Eyes would form from the earthquake, it didn't exist anymore though. It was in his childhood he relized he had a stand, he only used it for fun and he was pretty happy, but before he knew it he had befriended Kira Yoshikage, the man with beautiful hands, and he could see his ability. Sasame said he never witnessed it but when Kira talked all quiet he felt as if he had murdered before. Kira apparently didn't like him, he wondered if a surfer like Sasame was a person of land or sea. Feeling threatened, Sasame told Kira he'd kill him in an attempt to scare him off. Kira wanted to know though, there were people of land or sea, so which was Sasame? He only pretended to be a an of the sea, but his house was on land, he was crossing a boundary. Kira didn't like things that did that, "All day long, he kept saying that someone ambiguose was not a man. 'Outside-in, inside-out.' Be certain he said."

He told Sasame he was pretending to be a man, over and over and over and over, accuseing him that he was so indecisive he couldn't make a single decision, over and over and over. Sasame felt pretty shit, he started to drink and do drugs because of Kira's relentlesness. And early in the morning Kira told him to prove himself and eat, so Sasame did, he ate all ten of em'.

Sasame wanted revenge on Kira for driving him to insanity, he couldn't forgive him or himself. Josuke panics, asking question after question, more imprtantly where Kira was now. Sasame didn't know, after all he was looking for him too. Josuke saw no use in questioning Sasame further, he turned to ask the girl from the bathroom about Kira but she had already left. You can't blame her, and even if she was there she probably didn't have much information on Kira since she could barely tell him and Josuke apart. Yasuho called Josuke over to look at the picture closer, in the background was odd terrain shaped strangely like the one Josuke was born from.

Josuke wanted to ask Yasuho something as well, why did she come back? Yasuho doens't imediatly answer but she says that the dog she used to have had a real similair face to Josuke, and he wouldn't have liked this room at all, so Josuke wouldn't have lived in this room either. Josuke must have been very touched for he asked Yasuho to look to the side again and let his joy out out on Sasame.

And so they left, they no longer needed the room. People only ever see the results, to find truth they must find the beginings, so where else to look for the truth other than the place Josuke was born, the hole. What could Kira have been doing there? It was nocoincidence that they kept comming back to this place. Looking into the water there was nothing there, but Josuke thought perhaps there was something a bit deeper. He sent his bubble to steel the dirt from the spring, on the other side of the opening a person was buried.

It was Kira. The results of the autopsy showed the cause of death to be a heart attack, there was a case made about him being burried however anything that could have pointed to his burrier pointed back at him, there was no intervention from another person. He had died three days ago, when Yasuho found Josuke. There was another "bizarre"(SHE SAID THE WORD!) thing from the inspection apparently, also Yasuho was bit,

apparently Kira had zero balls, like nothing, zippo. There's for some reason a truly ominouse shot of Josuke for such a wack revelation....

And then Josuke got adopted, just straight up. He was picked up by the Higashikita family, his father said he looked like Yasuho's dog Josuke so they would call him that from now....

This is one of my favourite chapters so far, I LOVE Josuke's personality so much. I can see why he's also called pt 4 Josuke's "parallel" cuz they act very, very similar when it comes to getting angry. Josuke part 4 gets his hair insulted? Limbs and furniture snapped. Anything mildly ticks off Josuke part 8? Balls broken. I also see a pattern where Josuke always asks others their name and identity, it's probably because he lacks a proper one of his own. When someone asks him such a question about himself he must feel very lost because he genuinely doesn't have an answer, so to avoid it he just goes "No you". I also find it hilarious how he's literally named after a dog, he must be real adorable too if everyone keeps saying he looks like a literal puppy. I also find Kira's effect on others fascinating, he was so annoying he drove Sesame or whatever to eat his own fingers, like that's nuts, what's wrong with him? And what's wrong with Araki, why is he so focused on how many balls everyone has? Did Josuke steal them or smth? And Yasuho's gonna get a stand which is cool but biting? Really? That's how he chooses to give em' out? Oh, we find out where the naked lady went, it's an unimportant detail but she ends up in a trash can and accidently flashes two little kids...

The Daily Chapter: Josuke goes to the Higashikata House (JoJolion chpt #7)

Just wanna mention the cool colored pages we get if u wanna check em' in detail for urself!!!!

Josuke's writing in the car with Mr. Higashikata and Yasuho, he's asked to choose between two tpys: a teddy bear and a robot (Mr. Higashikata tries to take a picture but ends up unsuccesful). Josuke picks the teddy bear to Mr. H's delight, he calls him a "Yankii"(he fails to take another picture.) He explains the question was simply a phsycology test to see what kind of person Josuke was subconciouslly and give some himts on Josuke's backstory. "Yankii's", as Mr. h puts it, "love fluffy things like cute stuffed animals and sheepskin rugs and stuff." Apparently another "Yankii" thing about Josuke was him taking his shoes off in the car...(for free?)

But it's chill cuz Mr. H also took em' off. Yasuho follows suiet(just in case.) Josuke asks if being a "Yankii" means he's not a good kid, Mr. H says it just means h has a certain point of view (he tries to take another piccy but fails once more.)

They arrive at the Higashikata family estate which is very, very nice:

Josuke would be staying there untily he figures out his identity or gets any momories back, until then he was welcome to stay as long as he wanted. Mr. H's grandpa won the 2nd place prize in a horse race(STEEL BALL RUN REFERENCE??!!) which wasn't a lot but he made it work with a fruit buisness. Mr. H's full name is Norisuke Higashikata and he's the 4th generation running the buisness, his family wanted to pay back the and and people with public sevice(hence adopting Josuke.) Mr. Norisuke says they'll take a family picture and he'll introduce Josuke to everyone. Josuke leaves the car to follow Mr. Norisuke but get's a sharp hedache, he caught a glimpse of the "Wall Eyes" and rembered Kira's corpse....

Yasuho conveniently mentions how ordinary Kira's autopsy was; he died of illnes, no relatives, and his ashes would be srcattered around some temple. Josuke wonders why no one was searching for him, maybe he was like Kira and didn't have any relatives either. During this kinda tragic moment there are two creepy shots of J*shuu just staring at Yasuho and Josuke before he comes out to insult his name. Apparently Josuke got lucky as he could've ended up as "Ponta" or "Poochie" if they were running with the dog name theme. Mr. Norisuke is not a big fan of J*shuu's joshin'. We're introduced to a couple new characters. Hato, the eldest daughter who's entrance is very humerouse,

works and as a super model (and starts bickering with J*shuu after he calls her ugly(as if he's one to talk))

Next we meet Daiya,

the second eldest daughter who's very obbsessed with music and asks Josuke about a very niche instrument in a specific part of a song from a the band Yes, and Mitsuba who married Mr. Norisuke's eldest son and her kid Tsurugi.

Oh, ther's also the family maid Nijimura who steps in to take off Josuke's hat (he is not appeased.)

The lot finally line up but not before Joshuu get's a minor demotion from center stage to the very end. I can almost feel bad for him, it's been his spot for a very long while and he likes being next to his father (trigger warning: Josh.)

Josuke furthers this hurt by dragging in Yasuho by the hand so she could be included which leads J*shuu to mention how the oldest brother, Joubin, isn't present, knowing it would lead to the cancelation of the photo. Mr. Norisuke gives up the photo because what's the pount of the oldest son isn't there(playing favourites are we....) Norisuke goes on to tour the house, showing Josuke all the rooms (except for the one above a specific flight of stairs(suspicious) despite Josuke's request.) He shows Josuke to his room which is impressivly completely set up and read, and that's because it's J*shuu's room. He's of course pretty pissed, not only cuz his room was taken but he's gotta move into the one above the garage which smells like oil and is far from the restroom. Mr. Norisuke pays him quite a bit of money to get along with Josuke, and now that it was settled he had a favor to ask. In his words there's no such thing as a free lunch, in this house his word goes, and his words were that Josuke look after Daiya. She has a visual impairment and it was Josuke's job to protect her, Josuke isn't fully on board but Norisuke assures him he'll be fine. He calls over Daiya who seems to be very fond of Josuke already.

(Yasuho stand possibly conflicted? I'm not sure.)

Nijimura see's Yasuho out of the house as Norisuke announces the last rule: never go in the room above the stairs, for "privacy reasons" of course. We're allowed a glimpse of the brief conversation between Yasuho and Nijimura, Nijimura passes on a message from Mr. Norisuke which is basically "piss off"(even if she's only passing it on she looks very freaky.)

He forbid her and Josuke form meeting again.

Meanwhile, Josuke is rembering something, he saw a symbol on the handrail to that forbiden door and he was SURE he saw it before...but where?

His attention is turned to Daiya who gets up to make some tea, Josuke jumps to make it for her but she is unammused. She knows this is one of her fathers requests and she asks him to just treat her normal, to "not make a fuss". She knows the room perfectly fine, so he need not worry about her. She proceeds with her tea making and starts to pour the kettle over an empty area of table.

Josuke "discretely" moves the cup but Daiya pauses, she warns Josuke "not acting natural is a landmine." Josuke appologizes and says he won't do anything like that agian. Suddenly, wierd, strung together creatures emerge out of the table, dissaphearing to somewhere.

Josuke tries to find that thing but only see's Daiya with a chunk of her leg bitten off.

I hand wrote all of this first so I didn't have to keep switching tabs and was it worth it? No. Glad to know Josuke's new family is just as autistic as he is tho. I am curiouse at how Nijimura was able to get that whole message, when did she even get it??? Also that last name is very familiarrr(Okuyasu and his bro!) And this scene:

makes it look like this house is going to end up as a prison for Josuke, this is a very suspiciouse situation. I wonder why Mr. Norisuke wants them seperated, perhaps it's J*shuu acting al wierd and stuff. I also appreciate Daiya asking to be treated normally, lot's of disabled folks are babied or treated as incappable cuz of abeliesm. I think Josuke's never gonna get along with J*shuu tho....Also bless my sould its 4:30 am </3
